Alaska Helicopter Skiing Meadow

I have spent more than a few seasons chasing powder across the northern hemisphere, and I can tell you without hesitation that Alaska helicopter skiing sits in a class of its own. The scale of the terrain, the consistency of the snow, and the sheer remoteness of the lines you can access are unlike anything you will find in the lower forty-eight or the Alps. But it is also a discipline that demands respect. This is not a resort experience where a groomer waits at the bottom.
